Watercolor brushes come in various shapes and sizes, and your brush is a versatile and incredibly fun tool. We’ll explore ways our brushes can be used to create texture and patterns on watercolor paper such as staccato shapes, brick wall patterns, bamboo, tree bark, and dry brush to create snow or reflections on water. We’ll roll and drag our brushes and even sweep wet paint with the end of the handle to fashion mounds of arching grasses. Finally, we’ll paint blue skies and lift the paint off with our brush to create white clouds. All materials are provided, including wine!
Cost: $50 (a portion of this fee will support the mission of the Towson Arts Collective)
