The pure white mat on a watercolor painting serves to highlight and enhance the painting itself.  But in this workshop, we’ll actually paint our own colorful custom floral borders on white beveled 8 x 10 mats.  We’ll first look at examples and ideas, and then practice painting flowers before painting on the mats.  Your personalized mats can then be used to frame your own photograph, painting, wedding invitation, or other memento.  These will be great to keep or to create a unique gift.  All materials provided, including wine!  (Parking note: street parking in Towson is free after 6:00 p.m.)
