• Photo Encaustic 1 -- MEMBERS – $70.00
  Plan for lesson:
  • Introductions
  • Introduction to encaustic medium
  • Demo – prepping materials, two photo mounting processes demonstrated
  • Participants will prep 2 cradle boards and mount their photos
  • Demo – different applications of medium
  • Participants will apply medium to their photos
  • Demo – Applying pigment sticks, pan pastels to the images
  • Using pigment sticks and/or pan pastels they will enhance their images
  
  Each participant should bring at least (2) 8X10 photos to work with. They must be printed on matte paper, photo paper or heavy weight matte printer paper. Inkjet or laser is fine. Black and white or color.
  
  This class is open to all participants, experienced or inexperienced in encaustics.
  
  Ticket price includes $20 materials fee/participant.
